Going national is a decision no company takes lightly. When Fingercheck was starting up a list of 50 states—40-plus of which it had never won over before—it was a moment of introspection. In retrospect, this was a pivotal moment that needed careful, creative stewardship.
So we took this niche, beloved time and attendance provider and turned them into a formidable, recognized HR platform for the American corporate masses. Beyond radical change in capability and perspective, this was a seismic shift in how brands can leapfrog.

Fingercheck offered strong time-and-attendance hardware to midsize companies, backed by basic, feature-poor software. After years of steep investment into better technologies, the company faced the challenge of taking on the big players such as Zenefits.

We eschewed the linear, iterative approach for a complete reposition: Fingercheck would now be an “All in one HR platform.” To help them climb the adoption ladder, we completely rethought the visual system to be tech-native, interactive, and scalable. We rebuilt their messaging with a wide scope as a platform leader, and developed beautiful elements to intersect with each of their focus industries while itemizing product categories. We also delivered environmental in-office design, enhanced their internal culture, developed a new website, and ran marketing and social media
