Bringing Nostalgia Into the Now

Klein’s Naturals has long held its place in pantries, Shabbos tables, and snack drawers across the country—known for unbeatable freshness, flavor, and that nostalgic swirl of tradition. But with a growing market of newer, flashier brands, even legends need to evolve. Klein’s didn’t want a rebrand that erased their legacy. They wanted a revamp that honored it.

They needed to modernize without losing the trust and sentiment built over generations. It was time to refresh a classic—keeping it deeply familiar, but undeniably new. That’s where GCNY came in.

  • The Turning Point

Rooted in Tradition. Built for What’s Next.

Our strategy was clear: make Klein’s feel modern without making it feel new. The goal wasn’t to reinvent—it was to reawaken. We needed to update the brand without losing its soul, modernize the shelf presence without shaking the trust it had built over decades. That meant every creative decision had to walk the line between freshness and familiarity, trendiness and tradition.

  • The GCNY Partnership

    A Legacy Reimagined

We approached the rebrand with one goal: don’t erase the past—elevate it. The iconic “K” swirl in the original logo symbolized trust and familiarity, so we modernized it with care—refining the lines, sharpening the look, and creating a cleaner, more contemporary mark that still felt unmistakably Klein’s. Next, we introduced a bold new color palette to energize the brand and ensure strong shelf and screen presence. Then came the packaging. We redesigned the product containers from the ground up—bringing structure, storytelling, and vibrant appeal into every bag, tub, and label. We also evolved the tone of voice—infusing it with more playfulness and personality, while staying rooted in the warmth and reliability customers expect. And finally, we brought it to life: a full launch campaign that let people experience the “new” Klein’s through packaging, digital, outdoor, and in-store touchpoints.
